Privacy Policy

Last updated August 2026.

1. What We Collect

Your account information (name, email), and, if your organization uses Inbox, the data described in sections 4-7 below.

2. How We Use Data

To operate your account and your organization's Inbox workspace - authentication, billing, delivering WhatsApp messages, and notifications. We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Your Controls

You can edit your account information and delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

4. Inbox: WhatsApp Message Data

If your organization uses Inbox, we store the content of WhatsApp conversations conducted through your connected number — including messages, attachments, and the name and phone number of the customer you're messaging — for as long as your organization's account or subscription remains active. This includes contact information for people who are not Yenifa account holders themselves; they have not created an account or agreed to these terms directly, and their data reaches us only because they messaged a number your organization connected.

5. Inbox: Billing Data

Subscription payments for Inbox are processed by Paystack, a third-party payment processor. We store your subscription status and Paystack's own customer and subscription reference codes; we do not store your card details, which Paystack handles directly.

6. Inbox: Team & Organization Data

If you belong to an organization on Inbox, other members of that organization — and, depending on their role, its owner — can see the WhatsApp conversations, contacts, leads, and pipeline data associated with your shared connected number(s). This is a shared-access model: data associated with your organization's connected numbers is visible to your teammates, not private to whichever individual happens to reply.

7. Inbox: Push Notifications

If you enable notifications, we store the browser subscription details needed to deliver them (not their content) until you disable notifications or your account is removed.

8. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell data collected through cookies to anyone.

9. Data Retention

We keep your account and organization data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile is removed from active systems within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain limited records for legal, security, or billing purposes.

10. International Data Transfers

Yenifa is used by organizations in multiple countries. Data may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our infrastructure providers operate. Where required, we rely on standard contractual safeguards to protect data that crosses borders.

11. Security

We use industry-standard measures - encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege data access - to protect your information. No system is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we treat safeguarding your data as an ongoing responsibility, not a one-time setup.

12. Children's Privacy

Yenifa is intended for professional/business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we've collected information from a child, we'll take steps to delete it.

13. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise most of these directly from your account settings, or by contacting us using the details below.

14. Changes To This Policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. If a change is material, we'll take reasonable steps to let you know - such as an in-product notice or an email - before it takes effect.

15. Contact
